Cincinnati is my hometown and there is a TON of things to do within the city and the suburbs.
Here’s what you should do when you visit Cincinnati.
- Go to Newport, Kentucky and see the stunning Cincinnati skyline.
Cincinnati is known for it’s picturesque skyline, and seeing it should be on the top of your to-do list. Whether coming into the city from Kentucky and being able to see the skyline, or just sitting on the levee seeing Cincinnati or Kentucky from each side, you must do it! If you’re on the Cincinnati side and want to see a great view, do it from Eden Park.
2. Explore the streets of OTR
Gentrification is a curse but without it I can’t see how Cincinnati could be redeveloped into what it’s becoming and where it’s going. OTR is beautiful, and it’s bustling with shops, restaurants, bars and parks. Exploring OTR is definitely something as a resident or a visitor that should be on your to-do list, including Gomez for tacos, Lucy Blue for pizza, and Black Owned Store for shopping!
3. Candle Lab Cincinnati
I did the Candle Lab earlier in Cincinnati (March) but creating custom candles that are budget friendly and also a combination of the most unexpected scents is also good for a Saturday afternoon.
